Sorry to hear about the loss.
Osmotic shock could also be the culprit, how long she at the shop before you bought it? If they didnt acclimate right, it might not, show forma couple of days then, boom, dead...
How did you acclimate?
Lol i havent acclimated a fish in yrs. Was in qt at shop for 3weeks i didnt buy right away she went in my tank did great . It ate within 5 minutes of being chucked in . She owned the tank the whole time swam all over acted normal then just stopped eating. I have feeling my lemon peel had something to do with it now i seen some torn fins and what not chucked it up to the worms and bugs eating it. But i noticed my lemon peel got some scuffs looks like maybe the fought and queen lose . Acclimation lol pffft
Yea i dont acclimate any fish she would of died way sooner if was shock . I cant believe u dont know my methods by now lol. Havent lost many fish since i started chucking em in. And my fish well some e in 100 plus range. ive lost very few fish in last 5/6 yrs veey few the ones i did lose were ones like potters wrasses and blue star leapards . Some last months thn just die. So i gave up on leopards im blamwing my 10yr old sand bed they dont like it i thinkwait, you didn't acclimate it? you just threw her in?
osmotic shock can work that way, the fish seems normal, eats, etc, then boom, dead
Lol i have bad feeling my lemon peel played a roll in this mysterious death after stareing at fish and tank for a hr i see signs of a fight on him and some of themarks i found on angel and figured was just the worms eating it probably cause by fighting they were roughly same size next time i go biggerYea, common gig. He is madjoe. His methods are unorthodox. He pisses in his tank to top off since that has some water in it and then have the skimmer pull out the crap. The end result being a beautiful reef that he has now.
Test kit ???? What!!!!!!
