Where did you order your units from? anyway to get around shipping? or slight discount?

i know Ecotech is known for not allowing a big margin for stores.
 
Premium Aquatics (one of our sponsors) has always been able to give me a good deal on ecotech products. Don't know how much flexiblity they'll have on the Radions since they are brand spanking new, but shoot them an email and make sure you say you saw them on Chicago Reefs!
 
Here is a little comparison of how the light looks with different channels shut off. I just needed a break from writing this paper so it's short! I'll try and get a more complete video in the next week with the Radion control panel overlayed onto the video.

Yeah, the fish and clams don't like it. I hardly ever play with them though other than to change the overall intensity. Next week once all the LPS are out of the tank I'm going to kick them up another 5%.
 
How Close to the water would one recomend i place the unit? placement is directly over a brace - of a 37 Gallon Tall. I was intersted in moving the brace but I have been advised against such things. Thoughts?
 
I dont think it's the light, maybe it's the two mp40's in a 75G, he looks like he's gettin thrown all over! :) :D
 
My pair of Radions are for sale in the classifieds for well under retail if anyone is interested. Won't need these bad boys for a FOWLER or BTAs
