My understanding is as follows:

-Based on past such events, and without action from the community, the following would be prohibited soon: Import, Sale and transportation across state lines.

-Threatened species are typically given the same protections as endangered and the above happens eventually.

-There is no differentiation between wild, aquacultured or mari-cultured. All species on the list will be affected.

-Owning these will not be illegal if you already have one.
