Just picked up this frag

Thanks for convincing me to try t5 ted. I am so much happier with my t5 than my radion. Don't get me wrong. The radion is a great fixture but I wasn't getting enough coverage and my sps looked good on one side and brown on the other. Now with t5 I see both sides of my sps getting a good amount of light and hopefully will color up nicely.

This is a ATI 24" 4 bulb t5 fixture. I'm running

Blue plus
Blue plus
Coral plus
Blue plus.
Back

The tank looks great. I'm also thinking about adding 1-2 24" reef brite LEDs to the fixture. Then I might add another coral or purple plus for more color.
 
Now i really have to stop by and see the tank and seriously hope it wont change my mind to go T5 .. lol

I'm due for an update.

I've sold my radion and mp 10. I bought 2 rw8's from the gb that I hope comes in soon. Right now I have 2 wp10's in my dt ( thanks jason). Well I had a REALLY bad algea bloom happen to my tank. It was so bad that I actually thought about getting out of the hobby. I lost close to half my sps which was really the reason I was thinking about it. I hope I can get all the stuff I lost. My rocks were covered in hair algea. My tank was so depressing that I didn't want to look at it lol.
As my last resort, I've been running bio pellets in a CPR nano reactor and within 1 month almost all my algae is gone. I'm running 50 ml of bp right now and will b waiting another month before I add another 25 ml. I'm hoping 1 more month and I'll b algae free.

I also lost my tomini tang for some unknown reason. 1 day he was fine the next dead. He was a great fish, he will b missed.

And finally I sold the radion and switched to a ATI 4 bulb t5 fixture. I love LEDs but with the radion I felt like I wasn't getting the coverage I needed for my tank. I'm using this bulb combo right now

I really like how much brighter and clearer the t5's are. And I'm happy I made the switch. Here is a pic of how it looks today. Not the best iPhone pic though.

Ted thanks for getting to try t5. And yes this will b ted new light. I should b getting a 6 bulb ATI dimmable fixture in a could days.
 
UPDATE!

I got my new ATI 6 bulb dimmable t5 fixture and it is awesome. I'm getting nice color on my sps and my tank looks great. I finally beat my hair algae problem also. Which was a relief. My tank looked horrible. I lost almost 90% of my sps and now had to buy all the stuff I lost again. I need 2-3 more pieces and my tank is full again.

I also started to dose vinegar in my tank. It is doing a great job. Very easy to dose. I'm at 17.5 ml a day. I've also bought 2 rw8's and they r strong. My sps love them but I can only put them on the second speed before they go crazy and move my sand lol. But I can't b happier with them. I recomend them if ur interested. Also picked up a corals compulsion fuge bulb is doing awesome.

Looks great Jaime, it was a pleasure watching all your frags, but I'm so happy to get this damn frag rack out finally! Can't wait to come over next week and see the tank again!
