The reefer's deep blue build

Yea I recieved the snails in 5 days. I was emailing John from reefcleaners about them and he kept telling me that they will b fine. He just told me to acclimate them by floating them in the bag and then put them in. That was a bad idea. Turns out more than half of the snails were dead. I did a 10g wc, put prime, and added ALOT of carbon but it wasn't enough. I trusted John since he would know more of his cuc. This was a lesson learned the hard way but I should of followed my gut and I shouldn't have put them in.

Why'd it take 5 days for shipping? I've ordered before and get it in a day or two. priority mail is 2-3 days. He won't ship on Fridays so they don't sit over the weekend. Is this what happened?

Nope I ordered on Monday night, it got shipped priority mail on Wednesday and arrived Monday morning. Idk y he waited till Wednesday to ship.

Well its been around 9 weeks and my tank has been fallow. im ready to add fish. so ive bought a mccosker flasher wrasse, ora sharknose goby, and the smallest midas blenny i have ever seen. right now they are in qt. (thanks beto) i will add them after 30 days of qt. Im also gonna b going to see mitch for some clowns hopefully this weekend or next. That will b all the fish i will add (mayb lol).
Ive added a couple coral and 1 sps. so far they r doing great.

The only thing that is bothering me is the d@mn diatoms. i know they will go away eventually but im just tired of looking at them lol. I know patience is a big part of this hobby so i will wait it out. right now I have nothing to show in the tank so this is pic of how the tank looks in the room.

thanks
