The worst

All of the frags made this morning where white when I got home. The single frag I had survived.

A similar thing happened to me. in Spring 2010 at the swap I also bought a frag of the same bn. It grew nicely until one day I picked it up to move it and accidentally smashed it into about 7 pieces. 2 of them made it. I now have a piece bigger than a baseball and another that's about 2x a golfball.I'm sure yours will grow back in no time :)

SPS is just like a beautiful woman....they will eventually break your heart!

Reason my 450gal is fish with softies...

Good luck to you - hope the frag makes it!

yep, this happens alot, I rarely have gotten the frag and superglue method to work, it sometimes does, but rarely for me. Just like the milli I talked about, 2 days later, bright white, dead.

BTW - not sure, but check to see that your refractometer is calibrated, temp and Alk swings cause this typically. My issue was a low Alk swing, cost me a few corals. :(

Jake,
Sorry to hear about your RTN, but I hope your one frag makes it! At least it was only that one coral. Have you tested your Ca/Alk/Mg/Sg lately? I am amazed how quickly mine can get out of whack with SPS. I'm always having to adjust dosing.
