Well needless to say The bomb

This is getting big kinda

God of wars

Ultimates Miyagi tort .. a Very slow grower for me

the DUO

a Full tank shot

this is how it looks from the couch

Looking good Krishna! Very nice chalices. You tried to get out of SPS, but you couldn't kick the habit completely.

It's funny you say the Ultimate Miyagi is a VERY slow grower. Out of all of the corals I picked up from Hung, this one is the fastest grower for me. It has already sprouted a few new branches and hasn't even encrusted over the glue yet. I have it pretty low in my tank.

Haha yea I kept some and missed the ones I let go of ..

Lol then my miyagi tort not growing says a lot about my stability . Or may be I should move it lower .. How's the flow for tort in your tank ?

And I'm getting more Tomm lol

There's a lot of flow in my tank in general, but it is sort of between my rock piles, so it's in a lower-ish flow area. Definitely not getting blasted. Yours has better PE than mine though.

its actually sprouting branches but the branches are like one or two millimeters .. so im just waiting for it to get used to my tank .. its been 2 months .. and i have been changing something or the other all this while

Not a bad plan, but I think the kessil is a bad choice for a small sps tank. There is bound to be quite a bit of shading with that dense matrix led. If anything I'd use your razor over this tank or get something else.

Hmmm true .. for both the things above

Before the water change Tomm test results

Phosphates - 0.02
Nitrates spiked up badly cause I'm over feeding and took off the skimmer - 3 - 4 ppm
Alk - 7.84

The thing that perplexes me most is the mag level - 1520 stays constant all thru the week with out even adding anything .. Why is my corals not using it :stupido:

Mag is primarily for keeping calcium and alk saturated in the water. While it is used by coral it is in a very small amount.

More stability is always better, but 1520 to 1500 in a week is fine, that's already way more Mg then your reef needs anyway.
