top down shots

If I don't let my sps encrust, either the snails or the mp40s will keep knocking them over onto the sand bed.

Mine is too big and has grown around the rock it sits on so it takes a lot for anything in there to move it.

Pics are amazing and everything looks happy. Is this in the tank next to the front door or the huge tank along the wall in the living room?

The tank you saw against the wall is no longer running. I broke that down and moved everything to the big tank along the wall you saw. Sold all the big fish that were in the fowlr.

can't wait for this to get the size of yours! waiting for the red dragon to encrust too.

Photos look great! I never saw the surgeonfish spines from top-down. From that angle they look like they could really do some damage. I heard a guy once say his surgeon tail-whipped one of his other fish and it ripped the gut wide open, killing the other fish right in front of his eyes. Now I know how it happened.

Thanks Eric! Only nasos have their spines visible and out in the open. The rest of them have them sheathed in like a cat's claw. I had a 6" powder blue tang that died awhile back and I took out its spine to see how they looked and let me say, they are just as sharp as if not sharper as a cat's claw. I can't even imagine them stabbing those things in and tearing.

Pink stylo that went dark after placing in an area with barely any par. Just put it back under good lighting to color it back up.
