Vaping lounge! (if you vape, lets here what you have)

Ok so I don't know how many are familiar with vaping or even electronic cigarettes on here.

I have been vaping for just shy of two years and i have watched the vaping community grow fast!

What is vaping?
When you smoke a cigarette you are "smoking"
when you "smoke" an e-cig it is called "vaping"

Why is it called vaping?
Electronic cigarettes are essentially mini vaporizers therefore you are vaporizing the liquid in the e-cig which is where vaping comes from.

I started off with one of those small cigarette looking e-cigs and then found the hobby aspect of vaping.

Think about e-cigs like you would aquarium lights. There is everything from cheapo T-8's to high end LED's in the vape community.

disposable e cigs are the bottom of the line. Something you get to test the waters so to speak.

Rechargeable basic e-cigs (same design as the disposable but rechargeable) the battery wouldn't even last me 2 hours. which was very inconvenient.

then we get to basic PV's (personal vaporizers)
-larger batteries
-refillable tanks instead of disposable (disposable are still available)
-versatility to try different tanks

Then a step up would be Variable voltage/watts
-same as above with the ability to adjust voltage/watts.
-adjusting voltage allows for a stronger "hit" and more "smoke"

The tanks, juices, batteries, etc are as addicting (to me) as aquariums are.

a few examples that I have tried.

Blu disposable and rechargeable would have to be my recommendation for the smoker wanting to try an e-cig. The juices used are premium quality juices made by one of my favorite vendors.

Personal vaporizers (my recommendation for entry level PV's would have to be the ego-c kit) You could upgrade the batteries to variable voltage right away for a few $'s extra.

If you want to get fancy on a budget. the Zmax V3 by siegel (these have removable batteries from the case and lots of options)

Then if you want a full on show piece the provari is the one for you

I don't know everything about vaping but I have a pretty good knowledge and will have no problem with questions.

Nice!

I've been vaping for about a year and a half. I've tried the blu brand but immediately hated it.

Right now I order all my stuff from Volcano Ecigs. No complaints thus far.

I could never go back to the blu's but I think its a great brand for someone to try out.

Have you ever been to cignot? they have a warehouse and store in elmhurst. Great place to checkout if you haven't. There is also a place called cigtech's in hanover park. They are more into the mods like the provari, zmax, etc.

at cigtechs in hanover park they do a raffle every friday and get pizza for the customers, they have a sitting area with a tv and sell can's of pop. Last week they gave away a $180 provari along with a bunch of juice, etc.

my two favorite juices right now are on top (its like cotton candy) from cignot and tennesse cured from johnsons creek (its a tobacco flavor with like vanilla and caramel in it.

4 months for me and this is what I have:

The Zmax V3 by siegel with Kanger Protank and OMG from V4L for back up.

My favor juice is Pineapple and Camel and MaiDia's mix... :)

Nice! I'm looking into the zmax mini and protank. My brother in law just got it and I borrowed it the other day and it was pretty sweet. I heard the pro tank is a beast

I just got my gf's father into vaping. He unfortunately was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago and picked up a cheapo e cig from walmart. it was helpful but not that helpful so I gave him a disposable kanger tank and an old ego battery and he threw the cheapo thing away right away. Now I bought him an ego passthru so it's always plugged in next to his hospital bed. I keep telling him about all the other stuff out there and he can't wait to go to a store with me once he gets out.

And the hospital has no problem with him vaping in his room which i think is awesome.

I'm asking for the evic for christmas. Don't want to spend the money on it yet.

As for the zmax in the second link. I'd be careful which one it is. Siegel and smoktech both make the zmax and I have read bad reviews on the smoktech. I didn't see any info on the brand in the link

Yes. Again, learnt from Richard & try out various different flavors.

that is awesome! So richard is the local expert? I have been tempted to try mixing my own. I might have to buy a sample from you someday.

When I get my johnson creek orders in each bottle comes with a little 5mg bottle to carry with instead of the large bottle. I can save them up if you want them.

i started vaping 2 years ago, put it down to smoke moderatly 2 packs a week or less. Then my unncle got a stroke from smoking. it was horrible, so i picked up the ecig and stopped smoking. im almost 2 months analog free and dont vape alot. i don't even want to smoke cigs anymore. i using a old riva ecig, i was going to upgrade to a nicer more modern vaper. we should post links to ecigs to help people switch.

Yah, forget smoke. Just vape and make juice yourself with little nicotine or none then you will be fine.

7 months analog free:). Got hooked the first time trying at v4l.
Nothing better than vaping a good homemade juice and staring at my tank:)
