Vaping lounge! (if you vape, lets here what you have)

Very new to vaping, have only used disposables so far. Was going to run up to cigtechs and get a starter kit. What would you guys recommend? A cigar smoker here so something with a decent amount of vape. Any suggestions on what would be a good starting platform?

Get the EVIC or Sigelei kit you will love it.

Mix juice your own with real CiG, Cuban cigar or Red CIG concentrate (50/50 PG and VG) you will be good.
 
Both evic and sigeli are great kits. They are on the pricy side. If you can swing the price I'd say go for it.

If you wanted something a little cheaper. I'd go with this.

Still variable volts (which I think is a must)

As for juices, cigtechs has samples of every juice they offer. Ask them for a battery and start trying them. (They have alcohol wipes for you to clean the tip before using)
 
Ok i love this thread! I vaped on and off for a year. I lost my old e cigs. So today starts mine and my girls day to start quiting smoking. So a quick question for you guys. Do you guys vape to help you stop smoking the real thing or did you start as a way to smoke different types of juices? Ive had about enough of smoking the real thing. Right now i have an E-Cigs brand e cig. Anyone familiar with this brand. Its from the UK i believe. I just really am gunna need a lot of support to stop my habit, i wanted to know if you guys just vape now to stop smoking the real thing?

I started back in November of 11 to try and cut down how much I was smoking. I smoked a carton a week. I slowly went down and down till I quit for a good 4 months. Then I went drinking and battery died so I bummed a couple cigarettes and next thing you know I was back at the 7/11 buying cigarettes. However as soon as I got my ecig back charged I hardly touched them. On any given week now I will smoke a pack (ALL WEEK). By next friday I plan on not touching a cigarette again.

Smoking a real cigarette is no longer needed for me or a strong desire, in other words I don't crave the real thing. I vape inside work, in my car, in my house etc. So i use cigarettes as an escape to walk away. It's just an excuse to go outside. Which i shouldn't do and I wont anymore.

Either way cutting down 80-90% is a big enough step for me. I will finally make the other 10-20% when I want.
 
the extra flavor juices are just a plus. I have probably tried 50 different juices. But you will find those few that stick with you.

my 2 are tennesse cured from johnson creek and on top from cignot.
 
I would recommend you upgrading from the the ecig brand ecig. To me (and a lot of people) they don't want to associate vaping with cigarettes. (it sounds weird i know) but having the same look as a real cigarette is (in my opinion) counterproductive. Get away from anything that looks like a cigarette. Also i hate the ones that you have to puff on to get them to work. You take these huge hits and get nothing out of them. Upgrade to something with a button (preferably variable voltage) and you will be amazed at the difference in vapor production and throat hit.

What MG nic are those? what are you smoking (cigarette wise)? how much are you smoking?
 
I really wanna try the PVs i think thats really cool. I would also like a bigger selection on taste. I was a menthol guy for 8 years, but i prefer the tobacco taste with the e cigs. Kinda wierd but hey whatever works. So im starting to vape today and only have half a pack to smoke thru the week. Im gunna try and ease into the e cigs so i dont just give up like i used to.

siegeli zmax or zmax mini is a great PV for a great price. Have you been to cigtechs? You can try all there flavors out. You can do the same at cignot in elmhurst. Most ecig juice websites have sample packs as well.
 
Ya i understand it was a gift, so ill prob upgrade if i can. Just broke as a joke, right now the MG is the highest, but i do get a nice throat hit. I smoke a pack a day of camel methol lights. I really wanna try those Pvs but like i said i cant afford to buy one as it would be just as bad buying more smokes. Where can i get a good deal on a PV?

Hmmm I may be upgrading from my ego twist and spinner batteries to a zmax in the next week. If I do, I could hook you up with a VV battery, charger and a tank. Got any coral to trade for it?
 
Lol that would be cool. I have like 4 nice frags of ORA green birds but thats it. Nothing too fancy but theyre growing fast a real nice.

The initial start up cost is kind of high, but when you factor in the cost of cigs, it balances out really quickly and over time, the costs diminish. I buy two 30ml bottles every two months, along with cartomizers. Costs me with shipping roughly $60 compared to a pack a day for 2 months.

Good point. I haven't figured out the monthly cost for me but I vape a little more then 30ml every month. But at the same time, I use tanks like the iclear 16 and vision nova at the moment which are all cleanable and rebuild-able which cuts down on the cost.

I actually figured out what it would cost me over a two month period for cigs. I think the last time I checked they were $8 per pack. I used to smoke a pack a day so at the bare minimum, it would be roughly $480 for two months of cigs.

This doesn't factor in stress smoking or drunk smoking lol!
