There is about 30lbs of live rock, and a DSB, no refugium although there will be one soon....my honest take is the DSB coupled with my demolition team, phosphates creeped up once last summer but that was because I went 3 weeks with no w/c because of business trips....after I got those down everything was fine, not too long after I brought home the pistol shrimp and goby things started looking not so happy. I think them disturbing the dsb so much is what caused it.

and a few corals, for a 28g tank thats a fairly low stock level. I am convinced it was the sand bed, and then they got bad with me having two test kits and only doing the small w/c weekly because the tests red fine.
