I'm a Corporate Recruiter... wife... and mother of 2. :)

My husband is into this hobby and I just tell him what corals I think are pretty and I'd like. Don't know too much about this hobby yet... so I didn't feel worthy enough to post in a different thread other than one in the Lounge. hehe

I am a PhD student at a college of pharmacy. I study the ethnobotany, biology, and chemistry of plant products being put through the pipeline to make clinical drugs (they still do that I promise). I am currently working on the bio-activity guided fractionation and elucidation (open column chromatography as well as hplc/lcms/nmr) of single active compounds from 20kilos of an obscure Chinese root that is balls active in an anti-diabetic assay I run in vitro. I spend most of my days drying down flasks though, I need an apex for my rotovap.

I'm a pencil pusher for a large multi-national insurance company. I analyze large corporate insurance programs for Fortune 100 corporations and train new MBA graduates to become underwriters. It's all very boring and corporate but there you have it...

Lol, pretty specific of me huh? I should have said more active than the currently used clinical drug, but nothing adds emphasis like being crude :) My advisor used to say, "so and so dose? huh? I could piss that much in that assay and it'd be active." Really drives home the point, you know? lol.

I'm a Technical Engineer. We do civil, structural, and mechanical layout and surveying. Mainly on large scale industrial and commercial construction sites. I'm also a professional MMA fighter.

I am a field service engineer for a CNC machine tool manufacturer.
More or less a glorified copy repair guy for million dollar equipment

I work with co2 and fiber lasers up to 6000 watts. Anybody need anything laser cut let me know

I'm a software engineer for Cisco Systems. I write low level software for big ass routers and switches that run the backbone of the internet and enterprise networks.

I work from home everyday so when I take a break, I go play with the kids and watch my corals.
