And Imma take that "no hate" thread and stick it.............some words get lost in translation.......yada yada yada....I never pledged to do anything of the sort, and I have my opinions of people on here that are immensely positive and other opinions of people that I don't think do their due diligence to make the hobby their own. If the OP wants to vent and add a little chatter to the mix, I'll embrace the dialog.

Now I'm going to continue reading and fine where I may have just put ma foot in ma mouf...or someone else's a$$ ;)
 
I make sure to pick my words carefully. I've had my comment deleted before and received a nasty message about it. You have to be political with these things. Lol!

First, I'd like to welcome you back to the site and thank you for caring enough about it to post your opinion.

I'm sorry that you feel, "It's a shame that the site isn't what it once was."

Over time, members have requested to open up non-reef related threads. As many of the previous posters in this thread have stated, this site is somewhat of a "community" and for this reason these off-topic forums were created. The idea was to allow these forums as long as they didn't overwhelm the site.

At a quick glance, there were 10 non-reef related posts out of the last 275 and 6 of them occurred fairly recently.

As a CR team member I was concerned that we "let this thing slip away" from us. However, after looking at the #'s, I'd hardly say that was the case. I'm sure if you stick around you'll see that there isn't as much off-topic posting as you witnessed the last day or so.

I probably did jump the gun a little bit. I logged in and saw some non reef things and voiced my opinion. Sorry that I made you go back and check all the previous posts. There are a few things that I don't care for but I can easily look past it. I've learned a lot from all the members and I'm sure that I will continue to learn more.
 
I seriously hope that what we've said on your thread doesn't make you regret voicing your opinion. If it truly was uncalled , you would have heard differently. I believe you voiced your opinion correctly and with tact. I may have been a little more abrasive ;)

That's a good point which is what got me thinking...is there too much non-reef related stuff going on? Also, because nobody jumped in with :flame:'ing comments, it made me wonder if we had gone astray.

I commend everyone on the thread for being cordial and respectful, even while voicing their opinion. It truly shows how much this and members are growing. Great job Cr, I'm proud of all of us. :peace::thumb:

I don't regret voicing my opinion. I think a lot of good came out it.
