Which wrasse?

Cleaner Wrasse - Lucky to keep one alive for over a few weeks.
Leopard wrasse - Have to be lucky to keep one over a day or two
Six-Line - Easy to keep, aggressive hunter, will starve your dragonet.

The others I haven't kept at all.

Sixlines are great fish just worried about their aggressiveness since he's gonna be housed with some banggai's and chromis

My Six Line botheres no one. He's a great fish, but I think I want something more exotic.

+1 didn't see u were doing mandarin. Be careful bc wrasse will devour pods and that could affect ur mandarin if it's not eating mysis or pellets.. Mandarins are very slow when hunting unlike wrasse

I got a breeding pair of Mandarin in my main tank. I got total 3 killed by six line wrasse long ago so I put the 6 lines in the sum (cannot find him by then), after he gone my pair of mandarins are all happy. I also got one spot mandarin in my frag tank. Love them all. They all live with melanurus and coris wrasse with no problem.

I actually wanted one but decided against it since they get rather large and i have a fish thats yellow already in the midas blenny i'll be getting later

I love the Midas I actually have one on order from reefs2go.

Thanks bro.. yeah i was lucky to find the cube.. rocks are stacked and i made sure that it wouldnt collapse or fall.. dimensions are 20x18x20

Melanarus Wrasses on special at Living Sea. Not that I like that place, but $35 is a good price for a nice reef wrasse.

Yeah their customer service is lacking to say the least. But I mostly don't care for them because mostly everything I've purchased there has died with in a few days

Six Line wrasse is a aggressive little fish they will beat the Mandarin if you have one. I like Yellow Coris and melanurus wrasse. Just my opinion.

yeah i still have my spotted mandarin that eats pe mysis but he also eats a ton of pods

would a melanurus wrasse be ok.. saw it in liveaquaria in fish only section.. is it reef safe

Melanurus wrasse is no problem in both my tanks.

Six line
Mandarin
Lubbock wrasses (I think)
Blue trigger

I do have a fuge and about 200lbs of LR.. But the mandarin does eat brine shrimp
