www.glass-holes.com Overflow 700gph kit

Glass-holes.com is a great site - Ive ordered from them before, and about to place another order for more bulkheads

So would any of you recommend the 700gph overflow kit on a 40 gallon breeder? Also, how difficult/risky is it to drill the hole? I am pretty handy and confident in doing it just looking for any tips you may have.

I've used Glass Holes overflows on my tanks and I like them. I don't think they can be silent. The sound can be dialed down to a gentle, barely audible gurgle if your returns are pumping half of your total drain capacity, or less. I also use a PVC Tee Junction crowned by a threaded cap with a small snorkel tube instead of Glass Holes stock elbow-snorkel tube. This really helps keep the noise down.
