Ok, I don't have a tank to tinker with, and per an agreement with my parents who are helping us a TON with the new house (my mother has ALWAYS hated my saltwater tanks for moneypit reasons) I promised her I wouldn't set up the new tank until the spring.

So, here's my current build. It's getting appraised next week. $110,000 for 1706 sq ft. tri level built in 1970. Oversized 2 cat attached garage, 15X20 deck, and sealed crawlspace on a quarter acre lot.

Lots of work to make this our home, such as getting rid of 40 year old carpet and wallpaper, and a ton of other small updates as well.

This will be a lifelong work in progress, but at least this gives me a venting space and a place to show off the process :)

I'll be putting up more pics and whats going on as it happens as well.

It's in Portage, so still in Japan.

We're not far from the corner of Willowcreek and Central to give you an idea of the spot.

Here's a shot of the carpet. The sad part is its in fantastic shape. The downside is its uglier than a fat chick's a$$ crack :reddy:.

We're laying pergo in the basement. We found hardwood in our budget for upstairs, but its on backorder till February, so we might have to settle for some higher quality laminate for the upstairs as well.

Ehh, its liveable, and saves money for other stuff right now. let the carpet go for a little while at least. LOL

You must have some really big cats that you need to keep them in a seperate attached room on the house with a big door like that!!! lol. anyway congrats on the new place, it looks very nice. and the wall in the carpet pic looks like it will host 300+ gallon tank nicely. with that said i will take donation of you current equiptment immediately. j/k but really good luck to you and your family.

I have always wanted a lion.... And a real one, not just a lionfish, lol.

Congrats Yogo, you are now closer to me and can work on my tank as much as you want!! I'll even split all the costs with you!?!?! What a deal right
