The majority here was grown from frags over the last 8 months with only the LED's I built from reefledlights.com. Sorry I cant help myself. I had to get that in here for the LED haters out there.

Anyway I am in a jam. I need to trim some of this stuff back. My frag tank is not set up yet and I don't have time to wait. Over the next couple weeks I would like to do some frag trading with whoever is interested.

I do not have an inventory of everything that's in my tank. If it looked cool I grabbed a frag. I know I am still missing a lot and still have a ways to go to get this filled out like I want it. I still don't have a green or a purple cap. I don't think I have a single millie in the tank yet. I am not an LE snob only an SPS snob. Come on out with some frags. I will cut you an equal or greater number back out of my tank. Frag trading at its best!

The only catch is I am in Yorkville. I am usually around on the weekday evenings. Weekends usually in the morning and the evening. let me know if your interested and lets set something up! Pictures below were taken with my Galaxy phone.

wow ! 8 months of growth thats amazing! sorry i dont have anything to trade but it would be fun to see a build thread on this tank ! good job and good luck finding trades
 
Second from the bottom ---what is it ? Probably common to SPS guys---not me though. I Have seen this at reef wise----but if show interest to those guys they treat you like they have the upper hand---lol. On second glance I wonder if it isn't what I think it is,

If that is the same SPS I have seen them with a real deep purple with a real cool round shape with like thick fingers. Really stunning.
 
What's your secret? That kinda growth in 8 months from frags is insanely unrealistically mind blowing and awesome. Your tank is now under paranormal investigation by the government classified as the hyperbolic time chamber. lol

Yeah they can grow like that, the only other SPS I could think of would be pocillopora.. which might be more of what you're thinking about, they usually end up growing big and round.
