I also have 2 systems on one sump! Mine are across the entire house though and lead into the basement- nice setup and frag tank you got there!!

I put the lumen max elite back on instead of the new halide. The new halide had too much shadowing and some sps were losing color on the bottom of the tank. Here's a picture of the tank now. The lumen has a 14000k bulb. When I order the new ballast for the wife's tank then I'll get a 20000k bulb. I'd also like to pick up some supplemental lighting. Either t5 actinic bulbs or maybe leds if I can get the wife on board.

I've got my halide supplemented with the reefbrite xhos and they're pretty nice I'd recommend them

Small update:
Everything has been doing great. All the colorless pieces are coloring up again. Everything is encrusting. Some pieces are already branching like weeds. Here's some pics I took today. Nothing special just quick shots with the cell. Also the wife will be starting her 27 soon so all the softies in my 30 will be put in there and my 30 will finally be aquascaped with tonga branch for a sps only tank

Thanks man. This tank is starting to bore me. The wife needs to hurry up and get here's running so I have something to do lol other than feed and manually dose

Yeah exactly. I think that's why I'm always upgrading lol. I have the wife's 27 to build then I can start on my 30

Ha ha if you were closer our wives may divorce us. She already told me no more tanks and no more upgrading. But I'm doing a betta tank and the wives 27 and then to aquascape the 30Too bad you're not closer... I could use some help.
