Why didn't you like the brs ones? You should try the bashsea reactors from @aquarium overload. I just picked a few up from the swap cuz I decided I hate my brs reactors too much

I hate how hard it is the unscrew the top. And they aren't rated for many gallonsWhy didn't you like the brs ones?
I got 1 large one and 1 small one. Figured they would make maintenance a breezeThe bash sea ones look pretty sick
Yeah its a great sump, can't go wrong with either option thoughI was looking at getting the reef synergy ones since I'm thinking about a reef synergy sump but I may get the one reef swagger has. That thing is sick. For now the brs Reactors are fine. Eventually I'll upgrade them though

No it really hasn't been thought about at all. Just something I ce up with today after 5 minutesSo you haven't really thought about it.....
I'll also lend a hand (beer & tanks)

Yeah I think reefswaggers sump is going to be better for me. I'll have to go look at pics of it again to make sure though. I like how the reef synergy comes prepared for bean animalI have the SS-34 that's been customized a bit, and no no fuge.

Yeah mines nasty but on the upgrade I'm going to have powerheads in each chamber and as long as I don't get lazy and tired of changing filter socks I plan on actually using filter socks. When I ran filter socks in my diy sump it was suck a pita to change that I stopped running them. Basically had to menouver them around the skimmer to get them in and out. I think with a better designed sump it'll be alot easier and I won't mind doing itYa that thing is nice! I've always used a fuge on my setups, but this go around I'm doing SPS only and want to keep a clean system. My fuges would always end up as a gunk pit.

Just have to figure out how I'm going to build it and how all my plumbing is going to runManifolds make things much easier in my opinion. The sump less cluttered with pumps like you said and it's easier to work on reactors and what not imo. Instead of having to do regular maintenance on 4 pumps you only have maintenance on your return
