Been busy today. Got the yellowtails out of the 30 and into the 27. Wife apparently likes them so they don't leave yet. Took the sand out of the 30 just left enough to cover the eggcrate and I'll be buying some reef flake or special grade sometime. Re did the aquascape. Basically just pushed everything back and turned a rock. Put a rock from the 30 into the 27 not sure what I'm going to do with it right now. Broke a few heads off my Kryptonite candy cane so I'll pif next week. Need to get some superglue. I broke a few things off the rock so I need to glue them back also not that I spun the zoa rock alot of the polyps aren't facing forward so I'll probably be breaking them off and repositioning them.

As you might be able to tell the rocks have alot of algae on them and sand (stupid goby) and the algae seems to be consuming the phosphate and nitrate since everytime I test they read 0. So now I've cut my light from 12 hours to 4 and I think I may try vodka or vinegar to help starve the algae. As far as total gallons I'm looking at about 100 gallons so any ideas on how much to dose. Also the 30 is really the only tank with algae. Any ideas why this might be? It's the newest tank and has never had water in it until I started these tanks. Could that be part of the cause?

Well November 5 my snowflake died. Looks like internal parasite but who knows. Once I make sure everything is good in my tank again I'll be in the market for a nice designer clown. Rescaped the 27 and moved some stuff in the 30 and mounted everything back up.

I told you ! lol....it really is a nice hammer---I always wanted to find a rock I could put it that would hold it nice and tight so it could really explode as it looks like a lot of baby branch's are ready to pop. Glad you like. BTW Clown is doing good----eats good and rally mellow. Keeps going in the over flow for some reason though.
