1 system 2 displays

No worries, enjoy. Thanks for the lights. The corals shouldn't need to color up much at all. Especially the forest fire.

What type of sand did you use? I am setting up my tank with egg crate as well and it will have two MP40's. I want to go with a large enough grain size to hopefully keep the sand in place.

I can't remember I've had the sand in every system for over a year. Really light though

Looking good. This is going to look great when that sps grows in.

What's the idea behind the eggcrate on the bottom of your tank? What does it accomplish? Doesn't it make it hard to vacuum the gravel?

I have lighter sand and I was hoping to keep the sand from moving around with all the flow. And to keep something between the rock and the glass. But so much is showing because I'm in the middle of replacing the light sand with heavier sand.... Once I actually get money for the sand

My dual display build is starting soon. The same 30 gallon DB tank you have and a 40 breeder. Hope it turns out as great as yours!

Thanks for the kind words. I hope yours turns out good. I wish I changed a few things about mine but oh well. BTW do you live near darien?

Haha that's funny. I've got some green and blueish purple mushrooms if you want some. And I'm sure I can find plenty of other things I don't want
