Any gear heads on CR?

Wanted to buy a hennessey jeep srt8 that I found for sale couple years ago the wife would not have it. Got anything done to that srt8

Nothing major, mostly visual, it's fully loaded options 1 & 2,

Medic Hood from black ops
Racemesh grille
22" factory reps, wrapped in nitto 420s'
Factory Dual kicker subs (only about 40 made)
Debadged, w tinted tails
Corsa exhaust
Catch can
Volant CAI
Custom tuned with the Predator

Lots of other little things also....

Nice motor. Wow 4 bolt main caps? What kind of HP are you expecting with that? We didnt jump up to 4 bolt caps until we were over 750 hp and we noticed cap walk.

Hoping to be around 600-650 N/A but I wanted the ability to hit it with a good sized shot on occasion down the road so I just went with the Dart SHP block now.... LOL

Im a big car guy too, mostly drag racing and hot rods. For some reason I dont have pictures just videos, will have to try to look on my other computer for some.

Video is acceptable!

Question for you gear heads, I was given the opportunity to buy a used yank SS 3200 converter with about 20k miles on it. I have mixed feelings about used converters. I know I can send it in the get cut and cleaned but I would only be saving about $150 then buying new.

What's your opinions on this? Worth the 150 savings? Try getting it lower? Or WTF YOU THINKING BUYING A USED CONVERTER?

I run circle d converter. 3600 stall. Feels like stock until you get on it. As far as buying a used one. I wouldn't unless I know the person and the car it came out of. A bad converter will take out your whole trans, to me it's not worth the savings.

I have never driven a car with a converter before. So it will be interesting to see how it drives when I do. Does it feel like a slipping gear?

I always thought it felt like a slight neutral drop. Mine was a baby stall converter on a TH350. Nothing like Mike's 3600.

I love cars but with twins I can't afford something right now and I think if I had something fast if get I trouble all the time. But I do have some cars for sale :-) 72 monte Carlo 461 gold in color very nice paint, very beautiful engine compartment, original interior 3 speed auto for a fair price of $16,000 trades are very welcome. Next up is an 83 mustang making a little over 650hp looking to get rid of quick for a low price of $25,000 or trade for Chevy muscle. There's also a 2010 Camaro about 7k miles, manual trans, $20,000 lol let me know of anyone is interested these at my best friends cars and I know his prices seem a bit high but show him the money and money talks he will negotiate on all prices and like he always says money talks.
