No i've been actually lucky that my flame angel hasnt been nipping my clams or corals.. I just try to make sure hes well feed..

how many times you feed per day? i feed anywhere between 2-5 a day and always wanted 1

I feed nori bout 3 times a week and feed some rods food/mysis/krill here and there.. Hes a fatty lol

Yeah that was my concern also.. Just watch the flame angel if u so decide to get one.. I had to return my old flame angel since it started to attack all my corals and this one is much better and nicer

Im not sure.. How can u tell the difference? Is it the number of stripes or colorations?

no idea, just see xmas island ones at my lfs alot. n i see different ones on liveaquaria. im sure google can shed some light n this
