Dre's 10gal recall build

Was a busy weekend for me.... :a03:

Update: Lost all my fish and "NO" wasn't flushed down the drain!! Still have the Coral Banded Shrimp guarding my zoas.. Hope it wasn't him that did all the wacking

Also stay tuned has I will be doing a new video with par readings using 120 optics.. I like the new coverage and par readings that I'm getting. Got the Mafia Zoa & Paly Godfather approval and blessings on Sat as he was checking the par numbers..lol!!

My Mag 5 went out on me and Advanced Aquatics was there to help.. I'm a new owner of a Rio 1700 :bowl:

**** sorry to hear that.

Dre,
Sorry to hear about your losses :(

Were the fish chewed up or just dead? They might have suffocated when your mag went out. I lost 3 Anthias like that :(

But CBS can become fish killers when they are big enough, so be careful. :hang2:

The good thing the mag went out as I was in a hunt to find the fish... I guess mags don't last more than 5 yrs!!

Never bothered to check for bites :banghead: All my corals are doing great.. So still trying to figure what happen..But I will keep an eye out CBS

I'm just going to add some clowns from Crooks and call it a day.. No more spending on fish..

Tinman, thanks!!

Update!! Did my 1st 5gal WC yesterday.. Also noticed my SG was at 1.20 :banghead: Had to adjust that slow using my ATO to fill it back slow to 1.25

Been coming home late from work and lights are out.. Still need to test par readings using the 120 optics... Hope by tonight or Fri should be done..

Looks good! Nice and even numbers, from the surface down to the sandbed. Those 120 degree optics seem perfect for that tank!

Bill,

So far certain zoas are loving it along with some SPS.. Still need to document some changes that I noticed using LEDS vs T5's. But that will be done the road.

Now I have seen a 55gal using PAR38's and looked great.. But for the amount of PAR38's you will need, I rather look into his LED fixtures..
