Got the WP40

lm ao but i just bought one also great deal and they have more the 40 there i just got off the phone with them a bit ago

Wth i got a email saying different. No biggie. Ill just try to order them monday. Oh its no biggie on members ordering. It was a thought to try to save people money. Im gonna order the digital ph/sal probe to see how it works.

lmao you just went and bought one from another site when a sponsor was setting up buying them and selling them to us priceless

I placed the order from the original site prior to finding out average guy was setting up a group buy. Even so I don't think I should be crapped on for buying one on my own.

Well first hickup the night sensor went bad, i emailed them and they do not sell them nor do they warranty the sensor. I think since its a simple sensor im gonna go grab a small outdoor light with a sensor and remove it and fix it into the sensor port.

no the sensor is just to make it go into a sleep mode at night running at like 10%, you can run the pump without it.

its a light sensor, Im gonna go grab a outdoor cheap LED light for like $5.99 from HD, remove the sensor, and try it, Ill see if i get a part number.

IMO, the light sensor is just an LDR (Light dependent resistor). Tunze used to have these in their older models & these go faulty always, especially the moisture that it is exposed to. Either you can replace with another LDR of the same kind from RadioShack or preferably don't rely on it & use it without the sensor.

I'm not going to judge the quality of the pump based on an LDR failure. This is just me.

Just curious, why do you want a LED light? To test if the sensor is working? I believe you can just remove the sensor from the controller & use the pump regularly.

cant find them on RS any other suggestions?

The LDR's are sensitive component to light. Although they are light dependent, the intensity plays a big role. If you can post a picture of the sensor & let me know all the printed text behind the compoinent, I might be able to help you out.
