Got the WP40

People are getting confused on what I am saying.
Its like comparing apples to oranges. Which one is better? Its a matter of opinion. There is no set better one.

HOWEVER, if a vortech is an apple and a variable tunze is an orange, then the WP40 would be like a tangerine (an impersonator orange).
It would NOT be an impersonator apple. Apples are non comparable to oranges, as we went over previously.
Both pumps work differently. You can compare a WP40 to a variable tunze, but not really to a vortech other than they are powerheads that move water (just like both apples and oranges are sorta round).
An impersonator vortech would...well...look and work like a vortech.

I dont care about the which one is better debate...I just get annoyed with the comparison wording lol. The WP40 may very well be a good powerhead.

I think its just market placement. For those who don't want to dish out $450 for a pump, here's a $100 alternative that still moves water like a tank with some control-ability and wavemaking feature.

That is a great way to market against a Vortech and a Tunze.

They want people to think and spread the word that its a vortech imitator/replacement. They imitated the model name scheme, and even the vortech box to some degree. They want people to believe its a vortech competitor (which it is, but not a vortech imitator). More money. If they said variable tunze replacement, 90% of people would have no clue what they were talking about.

perhaps you just got a bad one....mine is pretty sturdy and solid...

also what I don't understand is why everyone that is against this product has to knock it down with a passion...they are not forcing you to buy it. It's just another product. No need to knock on it without even owning one.
 
I think its innate insecurity. Something comes along that just might make them question their decision, so they have to destroy it before they have a chance to think about it.
