GugsJr 210 Build.

Decided to build an open canopy instead of buying the rms track for my Radions. Went to a friends with the track and I wouldn't have been able to get a tightly fit mesh lid without going custom

Center piece on the top is to mount the radions.

Need to add the other 2 radions, setup my apex, smooth out the sand and add my frags back from my friends but all the fish and inverts are in.

Looks nice. Is it cycled? That was dry rock, right?

I don’t know man....seems like a lot of water for just some sand and rubble. You know what you’re doing, but I’d be worried about ammonia creeping up and a full cycle starting.

I've doubled my volume before this way. As a precaution I also used 3 bottles of Turbo start.

I have an ammonia badge in there to monitor everything as well. With a brute can full of backup water.

Here is my sump with 2 areas for macro algae. First compartment is for cheato since it likes to smother everything, 2nd is my miricale mud and sand with mangroves and caluerpa. Need to get some dragons breath both red and green maidens hair.

The wires still have some organization to go.

The filter socks hopefully can be pulled by the end of the week. If I can get the sand smoothed out a bit more.

This weekend I hope to get my sps frags/colonies back in the tank.

Upgraded from an ehiem 5000+ to a COR20 and wow what an improvement in flow and fuctionality.

Also a fan of the VCA Random Flow Generators..

Though I went with the 1" and cant find any extra knuckles so now I need to find black pvc so it's more hidden.

So I lost a few frags mostly no names but a few named pieces.

Everything is doing great colors are popping really nice on the sps.

Added a Blue Tang and Blie Jaw.

My 2 MP40s are running at 95% with the 6ft tank opposed to 55 on my 4ft 120

Well fighting dinos and think I've narrowed it down to my 0 nitrates.

Purchased stump remover mixed s 9 tablespoon to 400ml solution.

Which should mean 1ml raises my nitrates
.25ppm

For my 210 plus 55 gallon sump.

Well no improvement with dinos raising my po4 to .02 and Nitrates to 5ppm.

Sucks it didn't work for you. Dinos are terrible.

Double check your NO3. I raised my NO3 to 5 ppm and it dropped back down to 0 ppm in 24 hrs.
 
Stopped home from lunch and dinos numbers are less. Usually they cover the tank by 11:30. Only see them in a few spots. We will see later today after work.

I'll also test at 6 since that's my testing time
