Herbie's 45g^3

Are you going "minimal" or yet to add more rock? I'm too lazy to go back 154 posts, LOL!!

Also, I had a thought...I see that your mp is on the side where a door opens which makes me think you might be walking past the mp regularly. Did you consider putting it on the right side of the tank so there is no risk of bumping it when you walk by?

Much more rock coming. I'm moving the whole 28 in as well as a bunch more rock I've been curing.

I'd did think about the knocking off but I'll actually have one on each side so it's sort of unavoidable (definitely overkill btw). That door goes into my workshop/ fish room and it usually stays locked because there is a more direct route so it is probably just unlikely enough to happen that I'll do it once a week :D

Looks awesome, can't wait to see it finished. Your going to get rouge waves in that thing with 2 mp10$ lol

they are just regular 1/2 inch conduit 90s. Electrical section at any hardware store. I tried twice to bend the whole thing, but it just didn't look right. Isaac had used this typw of 90 in his likke fluval build and I thought it looked really good. It's really amazing how rigid it really is. It will tip forward just slightly when the light goes on it, but not because of the 90s. I can shim the uprights off the back of the tank with small pieces of acrylic if I have to.

Great minds share ideas!!

I got these tiny clowns from Booyah at the swap. I have an older pair of clowns that loves their xenia and won't touch a nem. I decided to put them in my grow-out system and put the tiny babies in the 45. Today I put my BTA in the 45 and then I used my trusty acrylic "light saber" to sort of herd them to the nem. The were pretty stubborn to leave the zoas they were hovering over, but after about two minutes of constantly waving the stick at them whenever they went away from the nem the found it and settled right in. I think it's a testament to booyah's husbandry that they maintain that instinct so strongly. My other clowns would rather host a return duckbill than a nem.

yeah, pretty sure the effing tank is leaking. I really hope I just spilled a whole lot of water under it when transferring stuff or I'm going to be smashing a LOT of expensive equipment tonight. If that is the case, it has been nice know some of you. . .
