Hey Nathan.. Where u get the 90's from?

they are just regular 1/2 inch conduit 90s. Electrical section at any hardware store. I tried twice to bend the whole thing, but it just didn't look right. Isaac had used this typw of 90 in his likke fluval build and I thought it looked really good. It's really amazing how rigid it really is. It will tip forward just slightly when the light goes on it, but not because of the 90s. I can shim the uprights off the back of the tank with small pieces of acrylic if I have to.

Looks great!! But we still dont see water or light :(

So the other idea with mic didn't work?

the mic stand wasn't the right size and I really needed it to make it connect on both sides because I was only using 1/2 inch (didn't want to buy another bender just for this) and I think it might have sagged with just one upright. Water and sand should go in tonight. Light will be waiting for me at the swap.

I might have missed it but what lighting are you going with?

Jimmy from CoralCompulsion is setting me up with his 120w Full Spectrum LED and a PAR38 fuge light. He really took care of me and has been great with the communication about the order (I asked a million questions). Here is his most recent teaser:

Thats pretty awesome.... Sorry my eyes seem a little fuzzy are most of those Green LED's or are they all BLUE?

Wow... I didn't know he was so close. I guess I will look into his product when I start my Frag Tank up. Now lets get your fixture up and running :)

Sweet build is coming along great. Really like the bent conduit idea. Lights looks like it will do the job for yea. Post pictures ASAP!!!

Are you going "minimal" or yet to add more rock? I'm too lazy to go back 154 posts, LOL!!

Also, I had a thought...I see that your mp is on the side where a door opens which makes me think you might be walking past the mp regularly. Did you consider putting it on the right side of the tank so there is no risk of bumping it when you walk by?

Looking good!! How soon are you dropping coral in?

I'm going to move some rock in today and then test for a few days to see if the disturbance causes any sort of spike. I'd really like to get my bta in first to pick its spot, but I'm not sure if the tank will be stable enough. Upgrading is definitely more difficult than a straight build because moving the components that are being used on both systems is tough to time.
