Thanks for the support. I'm sure that I will have a lot of questions along the way especially equipment questions, because most of this stuff is on the cusp of commercial grade stuff.

Gus, I have the stand that came with it but it will not work for what I want. I also have a canopy for it as well but then again it's not what I want.

I have gotten 2 quotes on stand and canopies from http://www.steelaquariumstands.com and from Andy at the tropicalfishstore.com

The steel stand place I believe has better quality products. Their quote was just under $4,000 with shipping. And the Tropical fish store was just under $3,000 with shipping.

If you know of someone local, that can do a stellar job then please let me know. I want this to be a piece of furniture in my living room and not just some stand and canopy.
 
looks awesome... my question is... how in the heck are you gonna do mainteance and cleaning in the tank once it's running! And things like coral placement, etc... Looks like you would need to get scuba gear to get near the bottom...

I'm going to use the submarine! I've got tools, I'm pretty used to working in deeper tanks.
 
you can have a big shark in that tank.
Love to see what keep in that tank..
