ML-Skimmer.jpg

So gus, you plan on giving me credit for my photoshop?...

Don't know how I missed this. The wife and I are looking for land to build a house on now and I will definitely be designing a tank about this size for the home. Can wait to see the progress to get ideas. Subscribed!

Skimmer is finally here. I purchased a SRO XP 5000 INT full cone. I will be cleaning it up over the next week or so. I am so super excited. I have waited over a week for it to finally be delivered. Here are some pics! This thing is truly a BEAST...

I'll post some more pictures of the skimmer once I clean it thoroughly.

Please find out,i'm thinking of ditching my 4pumps and switching over to a single HY5000 pump on my Orca skimmer.

Some pictures of the Skimmer in Action! I'm running it with 2 gallons of vinegar and 20 gallons of water in a 50 gallon tub. Hopefully tomorrow it will look brand new!

I will try and get some video this weekend as well.

This slimmer is massive! Gonna be a nice setup once the stand is in.

If u need any help setting up let me know.

I would have used more vinegar but that's just me! Hope its sparkly tomorrow!

I figured that this was a good starting point and I can always add more vinegar. I let it soak for 3 hours and then ran it for 3 hours and then turned it off and let it soak over night and then turned back on the pump this morning so it will run 6 more hours.

I plan on going 6 on and then 6 soaking and then 6 on for a complete 3 days... What do you guys think?
