Were you having to feed the Orange spot pair some coral in the beginning or they already eating other food.

Niiicceee!!! How often do you feed the tank, and do you have a strong flow or a more gentler flow?

Thanks guys, tank is fed at least two times a day, morning and evening. During weekend when I am home I throw some food every few hours. I spot feed all my sun corals and dendros every other day with mixture of mysis, brine, fish eggs. I also feed coral chili, rotifiers and reef roids every night to my chili coral and gorgonians. I keep water temp. around 74-75 degrees, pretty high flow with two Tunze 6105 positioned on one side, creating pulsing gyre effect. Doing some research gyre is best flow for NPS corals. In future I will replace Tunze possibly with the new Gyre Riptide pump, but for now there are plenty complaints about some issues and noise with it. I guess,I'll wait for second generation when they fix those issues. I got my orange spotted filefish from DD two weeks ago, it said they were eating nutramar ova and enriched brine. It took them almost a week to start eating in my tank, I was pretty worried. Now my male eating very aggressively mysis, brine, fish eggs, female is still a little slow and eating only small mysis, but is trying other food too. I need to turn off flow for them, they have problem catching fast moving food with their small mouths.

extremely impressed with your aquarium Mark....it is refreshing to see someone take on a very demanding, and unpopular, aspect of our hobby and appear to be wonderfully successful so far!!!
I love the Black Sun, Chili Coral and File fish by far.....any chance of you introducing Spider Sponge?

your dedication is apparent and for that I applaud you...well done my friend...

I will be looking forward to your progress and continued success... :thumb:

Beautiful display, inhabitant selection, and photos. The spotted filefish is by far my favorite fish! Good luck.

This is a compliment----I swear I am looking at life on another planet---which is basically parts of the ocean we never see. I am really impressed with the lay-out.
