Wow, all that snow today, it is a good day to stay home and do nothing :). I borrowed extensions tubes from DJE and figured it would be good time to take few pictures. I have never used them before, so it took some trial and error, but I got some nice pictures out of it. I used manual setting, with camera build flash, handheld. It would be much better with more light and tripod, unfortunately did not feel like setting up for this. Let my know what you think.

Was a carnation coral i got from reef wise i didnt feel that my tabk could keep alive and fugured hes git the best tank for that type of coral

Some new updates, stayed up late last night and took some amazing pictures. As you can see, corals are doing great, many growing new heads. I keep feeding all suns and dendros every other day, so no wonder they are happy. I was able to get my Nitrates down to 5 PPM from 15 PPM, with all that heavy feeding that's pretty good. Only problem now is aiptasia, starting to grow everywhere. I will either get Copperband butterfly or Berghia nudis to take care of it. For now I am using the electric wand to keep those in check, but I want more permanent solution. I think Berghia will be better, as they can get everywhere and eat the whole aiptasia. Only worry I have are mine two wrasses, I am afraid they will hunt those nudis.
Anyway back to pictures,enjoy :)

always a wonder to look at pics of your tank!

After a couple years of keeping the nos in my tank, 3 day feeding cycle is what I've settled on. 4 days wan't enough (often they'd close up and wouldn't take food) and 2 lead to too much nutrient load. At 3 days, they still grow and spawn new colonies, but keep the nutrient load manageable.

Good luck with the rainbow sun coral growing some new heads too :spy:
