My "Tanked" Tank

The tv show is silly but I do like the tanks they build. I would love that telephone booth tank, it's so Planet of the Apes. Anyway, I could never afford anything that fancy but I certainly got as close as I can. I just completed a deal for this fantastic L shaped tank. It is 8 feet long at one end and 6 feet on the other.

It's 300 gallon and custom made for the original owner. I only have a 120 and a 29 biocube so I will be pretty much starting from scratch.

Very cool tank. they do have that phone booth tank for sale on ebay. pretty sure all the fish died soon after they set it up.

nothing shy of awsome that will be a really cool set up what are you going to do with the other tanks u have

Yes it's from Corbins but I don't know what was in it. She listed it on ebay and I grabbed it. I hope it fits through door.

I"m a member of Reef Geeks and there is a discussion thread about that show. Someone started a facebook page about getting that show to have more care for the animals. Rumor has it that they almost all die. So many of those tanks are showing up on ebay I'm convinced the entire show is fake like pawn stars. Completely fake. And that telephone booth is being listed for $4500 and it looks like the phone is fake but the booth frame is the only real part.

I"m only barely passed the beginner stage in reef keeping so I will entertain all tips and suggestions. I only hope that she made a mistake in her measurements. She said the 6 foot side is 42" wide and that's almost 4 feet while the other end is only 21". She didn't retake the measurements but I am hoping she is wrong in the width of the shorter side as this will make me bust the front windows out to get it in the house. Hmm, I always did want a picture window there though.

Well think about it. If you truely had a one of a kind item, would you take it to a pawn shop where they give you one low ball price to buy it or do you take it to a auction house where 6 people might get into a bidding war over it? Nobody but nobody will take a Faberge Egg to pawn stars.

Seller's measurements not exact; tank wouldn't fit in door.

Taking a poll---- 1. Should I break the seal and take the tank apart, bring it in and reaseal it?

2. Pull out two front windows, lift tank approx 10 feet in air, get it inside room and put in pretty picture window?

What do you guys think?
