Something in the tank shorted the apex and shut down my breaker. I have no clue what it was all equipment has been running fine since last night. Water temp was 69 no flow no skimmer no pumps. No need to check phosphates I'm sure they where through the roof!
 
OMG, that's HORRIBLE!!! My worst nightmare, too! It makes me even more grateful for my tank sitter. Thanks, Jeff! <3

Do you have a grounding probe in your tank?

Its official All SPS are dead now! :(
 
Man that really sucks. When my tank crashed. 90% of my sps died. I was so in shock I couldn't even take pics of it. Again sorry for ur loss. Did ur house lose power? Mayb tripped the Gfci or circuit breaker.

There was a post last night about someone losing power. I don't think that much damage could of been done that fast tho.

The damage can happen very quick. I had a similar experience while on vacation in the dells. Vacations are a reefer's worst nightmare. It's a curse, I swear. Keep your head up man. Investigate what happened until you figure it out. As horrible as these events are a lot of people can learn from them. You've got a lot of support here. There's a lot of good people willing to help you. Let me know if you need anything.
