actually, some of them are from Rich's group by in the summer...the one where everyone got pissed off cuz the batch of rics were mostly bleached. I just let mine be and they turned yellow and orange =P. I had some melt on me last week after I moved them around so dont have alot to spare. If Rich does another group by, I will get in on it again.

Sweet tank! I love your pictures too. Couple of q's. How much live rock? What are your parameters especially nitrate and phosphate? And can we see pictures of your filtration and skimmer in the back. Thanks.

Thanks! I started with dry rocks called Vidarocks. A bonsai one on the left and a branch on the right. They are probably 10 lbs total? Nitrate is 0, phosphate I stopped testing for. For filtration, I have filter pad, Seachem Matrix Carbon, Seachem Phosguard, and Seache Purigen. You can see the skimmer sticking out a little in the latest FTS. It's the black thingy on the left hand side. It's an airstone skimmer made specifically for nanos: http://www.picoaquariums.com/pico-5g/141-pico-skim-20.html

Thanks! The entire rock with the 5 maxi mini and a sea of white xenia is for sale =). $150 takes it all. The rock is a Vidarock Bonsai, and it's often sold out.

What are you using for camera settings? I shoot weddings, and portraits all the time. Can't figure out good settings for a reef though with all the UV lighting etc.. I shoot a 5D III and do have a 100mm 2.8 macro... Also, what are you using for a top down box? I love the pics man! Phenomenal work!

I have a custom white balance to take away all the blues. I also just shoot top down without any viewing box. I turn off all the pumps and use my light to stabilize my hands. I shoot with Nikon D7000 and 60mm f2.8 lens.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot. Didn't even think about doing a CWB.

Cheers!

Any photos of the maxis w/o color tweaking?

Here's a non close up, unedited pic of them. Going from left to right, light purple with green skirt, rainbow (orange, red, yellow), dark red with green skirt, yellow with green skirt, mixture of greens. They haven't moved from this rock since I put them there. The rainbow one went under the ledge for a month so it lost some color.

well, i nuked my SPS last night. alk went from 5.7 to 7.6 after a 30% water change. birdsnest and monti all bleaching.
