Reef central gave me a warrning, why?

RC had a roaring cmas thread until they got too heavy handed. I bet the ads were making a bunch of money for them. we were the second biggest forum to south california forum. even now with the low posting cmas is still second.

Goes back to my stop making noobs look on Google first, and post the good source of info here instead of having to use RC ;)

I think noobs should have the common sense to do some searching for their answer. Obviously, I am not a noob, but I still take the time to look something up and only ask others if I absolutely can't find an answer.

They deleted my post but I received no infraction lol.

If u type chicagoreefs on a rc pm or post it automatically changes to reefcentral
 
the mods there are such chicken $%$^, for writing "Chicago reefs dot com" I got a 10 point infraction and banned, wow, just wow.

from some mod I've never heard of named "blueCorn"

the reason given "bye"

3,000+ post and I'm kicked to the curb, god that place sucks

Lol... I saw that coming when I saw the post... I was going to say something but I might haven gotten the same response RC is so predicable
 
it's ridiculous, I don't think it's a perma ban, but sheesh, I don't understand what the harm is to referencing other sites, they run that place like a dictatorship

oh that guy....the best part is the message talks about the infraction, yada yada and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. However, there is no way to contact them when you are banned. I'm more pissed off about the reason "bye", what a douche nozzle.

Just how they are. That's like me telling everyone to go to Uberfrags dot net to sign up there I'm sure it won't go smoothly with Mike and everyone else here... ;-)

I never got to read my infartion, but from the same person, and I definitely was a little more creative, but same effect, lol...Idk how long, but I haven't been able to log in for a month and a half to 2 months.

yeah, but it's one thing to be billboarding another site here, but if fellow reefers are looking for alternative or additional sites, I think it's NOT a bannable offense. Frankie, you would get banned over there for simply mentioning uber, that's nuts.

it's no big deal, I rarely post these anyway, so I can still read stuff, oh well, their loss, just lose more good knowledgable reefers.
