Reef central gave me a warrning, why?

no they deleted the post, where I just put Chicago reefs dot com

I'm not sure, because my avatar still says "registered member", I always thought if they banned you it changes to "moved on"

btw, you can totally see the slow down in that forum. It used to be the 25+ topics would roll off the page if they weren't bumped by other replies during the day. Now there are threads that are staying on the front page for a couple of days now, or longer. they reap what they sow.
 
i just joined this forum after being on reef central for about a year i wish i knew about this forum sooner but anyways had the same problem had posted something six months ago for sale and just now received a infraction i understand there rules but when i asked them what the problem was no attitude involved was told if i didnt like it they would disable my account kinda stupid if you ask me "good bye reef central"

Anyone notice how the the majority of the mods over there have "tough guy" avatars? LMFAO! Even the mod who gave me an infraction, who is a women, has a tweety bird avatar that looks like it has a chip on its shoulder. Tough guy behind keyboard syndrome..
 
Maybe everyone from here should get a matching avatar. Either something tough or even something with the letters CR or word Chicagoreefs hidden in the background.
 
Exactly.... That's why I emailed Dino back and told him to kiss my @ss... There is no way I am begging to be able to post on their site.
 
looks like a couple more guys threw themselves on the "proverbial" ban sword, good for them. That place is a joke, it took me a while, but I realized I never post there anymore and even making jokes gets you in hot water.
 
OMG! I made one comment and first I get a "friendly warning", then today for no reason I'm perma-banned! Literally, it says:

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

What a bunch of assholes. :yes2:
 
I seldom go outside of the Lounge there anymore, there's enough *experts* answering threads out there already.

FWIW, i'm pretty sure they literally have spies that come in here to see smack talk. Sad, but potentially true.

they def do. lol....my email from the mod only said I had an infraction, which was temporary, but I suspect I'm banned for life now :)
 
That's pretty sad, I joined in 2005 and still do not have a single post lmao. I use the site for info, but never felt the urge to post there. Sad that they treat people, especially long time supporters and posters, like chit.
 
I'm considering hopping on there and just posting about how bad they suck. A permaban would be my goal. If the whole :spy: thing is true...I won't have to. So we'll see.
