Rock's 120

Yeah still have the halide running and thing seem to be adapting well as they say in this hobby good things don't happen fast, I need to give it a chance and this will be the 3rd weekend having it.

i thought you took your T5s offline and only had mh...so you actually have both? what's your PAR values like with both of them on?

i think your colors are spectacular...sounds like it only took a week for the corals to acclimate to the new light

Yeah has both 4 t5s and the halides. They are coming around and thank you for your generous words

The par #s where with both on and was why I was expecting higher par #s

Wow beautiful colors ..

and that WD is a fast grower it seems ? :marchmellow:

WD is a medium grower...very slow at first but once happy and established it really picks up...i think it's one of those that grow faster the more you cut it

i think it also might like medium light more than high light...as i'm lowering my light intensities i'm seeing more colors coming out of it...magic number according to many is 450PAR

Well it's at 400 now had it at 500 with the t5s

how are you getting less PAR with more light? lol, i'm so confused

but now that it's getting 100 less PAR, would you say colors are lighter/darker and/or are there more of them? looks to me like your corallites are turning more light pink and less purple (which is a good thing, that's how it's supposed to be)

Lighter yes more pink , not sure but running 10 t5s had higher par , but like I said before these are to completely different lights and spectrums of light. Taking it day by day and seeing where it takes me.
