Siebo's 65gal RR Build

So hear it goes! Advise is always welcome.
I currently have a 29 gal that has been up for about 2.5 years. I bought a 65 gal RR with stand and canopy from a fellow member on here last fall. I plan to do mostly SPS in this tank.

My plan is to move everything over from the 29 to the 65. Rock, sand, livestock etc.
So I am moving 40 lbs of sand, 40lbs of LR and about 25 gal of water form the 29.
I will have a total 65lb of LR and about 80lb of sand and about 75gal in the new tank. I have a QT tank and buckets for the current fish until everything is stable. I am hoping to avoid a cycle but we shall see.

I put 50 gallons of water and 40 lbs of new sand in the tank last weekend with the MP40 for flow and plan to move everything else from the 29 over this weekend hopefully.

The current canopy was not tall enough for me to put a light in it so I took some time to build a spacer with doors that opens forward for more access to the tank. The existing canopy sits on top of that.

Equipment:
DT: 65gal RR
Sump: 24 gal sump
Flow: 2 - WP25's
Return Pump: Mag 9.5
Reactor: BSR Dual (This is plumbed off my return)
Skimmer: SCA 302
Lighting: Evergrow IT2080
JBJ ATO

Here is the tank the way I bought it.

Nice looking on doing the canopy
I'm currently setting up a 65rr also
In my wall
Doing my plumbing and hoping to start adding water this weekend
I'm like you going from a nano cube to the 65

I love it! It looks great. I am just letting everything get use to the new environment so I don't want to blind anyone yet. I am going to sit down tonight and program it. I need to tune a couple other things too.

Glad you were able to finally get that light setup. How are you liking it? I see "cloudy" setting :)

I see your using a mag 9.5 pump
How's the return pressure is it to much??
I have a mag 5 on mine and it sucks
I want to get the mag 9.5 but not sure
If its to much

I have it dialed back pretty good but I also run my dual reactor off of it too. I can't run it wide open for sure, my overflow will not handle it and it sounds like a toilet flushing every 10 seconds.

It may be a bit overkill but, I am happy with it. IMO, A mag 7 would work just fine too.

I plan on running my uv which is about 120 gph and a reactor off of it
As well just have a dump valve just incase I need less flow still
My mag 5 just barley has any pressure coming out of the 2 returns which kinda sucks I can't get it to push any movement to the bottom of the tank

It would work great for that set up and give you pressure to play with in the DT.
