Alright guys, I put the light up. It looks "ok", I guess I have to get used to it, instead of the mh.

ive seen that same ligt over a much larger tank and everything is doing good personally id try to raise them to get a more full look i think they look good tho if u dont mind dark edges maybe a place for some low light stuff

Yeah, I'm thinking of raising them some more, to try to distribute the light some more. Right now, I have the light raised about 20in from the water surface. That's what I'm not liking so far is the dark corners, my halide seemed to distribute the light a lil' more evenly.
 
thats weird but u should be able to get the stretch u want the tank i seen it on was a customer i worked for the light was on the ceiling and the tank was a bow front larger than a 75 i know that tank was bright and had shimmmer in tank and floor
 
I'm probably gonna try that...put the light pretty much on the ceiling to get that light spread. Even on the ceiling, the light should still give good light readings.
 
I've mounted the Led's on the ceiling, and I must say it looks better, with better light spread throughout the tank.

The pic doesn't do it any justice, but the tank looks just as bright, but more throughout the tank.

Went by a mom&pop lfs and saw they had a fuzzy mushroom rock for $47.00, but it wasn't looking to good. I told the owner that it looked really bad and may die. He agreed and offered it to me for $15.00. It has approx 9 mushrooms on it. I bet I can make it nice and healthy again. ;)
