Switching mobile service

I have sprint and rocks. Im sitting in a basement right now and im only missing one bar. I know im close to a 4g tower though

I have Sprint service with my company phone. All throughout Chicagoland it works great, from northwest suburbs to Watseka, and of course Japan ;)

And yeah, not sure how US Cellular selling their market share is Sprint's fault, lol. It's because US Cellular has a $hitty business model and can't make enough money to invest in their networks. Sprint has been charging flat rates for years and doing infinitely more than US Cellular ever has to stay competitive in speeds.

+1...and I get a police discount.

I don't blame sprint, I blame us cellular...they sold their chicago based market(although they're a chicago based company)because they don't have the funds to upgrade the 3g towers to 4g in the chicagoland area. Sprint already have the towers, so I've heard. Does anyone know if Sprint have decent service...they all suck, but who sucks the least?

I agree. The kicker is sprint does not own any towers. Lmao they lease them.

Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante

my parents got were on USC and now im adding them to my tmobile account, with my employee discount, i should be saving 50 bucks.

Now this is an area I am definitely not a n00b on. I tried them all. Actually, I test them for our global enterprise. Here are the simple facts, iPhone is nowhere close to superior over android. Back in the day yes, but in the past year, android has far outdone everything else. Apple will be playing catch up for years.

Go S4. It is a great phone. I am thinking of it too or holding out for the Motorola X, googles first 100% phone. We will find out in a week at Google IO.

We give the iPhone to our low level operators. Not being offensive here, it is just a locked down phone that is super simple to use.

Android is for our heavier users with more skill. It has all the bells and whistles and android has the new government contract for all gov phones.

We can go for days but stick with Android.

I have Verizon but only because I travel all over the country and their coverage can't be beat.

I have A&T, and I've had them for about 5 years now, and I'm happy with them. With the exception of my office, which every provider sucks in our office.

I've had an iPhone, and the interface is simple to use, and there's a lot of stuff out there for it. Even with the new cable, lots of companies are quick to make accessories for them.

I had an older Samsung running Droid, and I ended up getting rid of it after 8 months cause the phone sucked and Samsung already dropped support. Droid is very customizable, but it can take a lot of work to get everything the way you want it. And unless you buy a top model, you run the risk of the phone losing official support.

I also had the Nokia Lumia 900. Great device, and Windows Phone is definitely moving in the right direction, but as of 3 months ago, Windows phone was still not where it needs to be with support. A lot of Apps that are commonly used, ran poorly like Spotify and Facebook.

I currently am using a Galaxy S3 and it took me a lot of work and installed about half a dozen roms until I finally found one I really like.

The iphone5 was obsolete when it launched. It got an extra row of icons and LTE, which only mattered for Sprint because everybody elses 3g and psuedo 4g was good enough. Apple really needs to be innovative with its next launch. Itunes/app store can only keep people interested for so long.

iphone5 is comparable to the S3. So any of the high end releases after that are really setting the bar high this year for Apple.

I have an iphone for work and I hate it. I have a Note2 for my personal. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Since I don't have an itunes collection or app store investment its a hardware game for me and iphone has been behind for going on two years now.

Plus no widgets on iphone. That is one of coolest features of android.

Thank you so much for your advice... I'm definitely going to go with the S4. And although they aren't perfect, it sounds like Sprint is a good provider.

Their new features are pretty amazing. All by gestures and hover without touching the phone. It is amazing. Enjoy!
