Wtf did I miss?! I make one crack cause Joe is ma friend and the world loses their head? Seriously, what did I miss? Joe knows I was making a joke directed at him, so no sense getting worked up ppl...
 
Yeah madjoe, try changing the positioning of the powerheads and see if that helps. Is it both powerheads or just one of them that's not giving you good flow inside the tank?

I moved it only set up one other is still new in box. Dont get me wrong this this is like firehydrant it amazes me im not getting the movement of the coral it makes huge waves but seems like thats all it it does make a wave but guess im only one with issue. I think two of tge smaller ones blasted at each other maybe give cool movement idk maybe just waste more money lol nothing new about that lol
 
Sorry to hear that it's not living up to the hype...I don't know much about them, but is there another setting you can try, to see if that helps. And we've all waisted money in this hobby one time or another. :)

I just think they be better in bigger tank if u can use two . Im gonna try smaller ones when they com out if the wave mode dont work i can still use em as regular power heads
 
Madman, I have owned every released model of Tunze & MP40. Honestly, I don't see how much different is the flow from these pumps & WP40 compared to waves in the ocean. If someone is trying to say MP40 or Tunze replicates ocean waves, I would not want to argue but politely disagree.
Try it out one more time or try a smaller model. But don't expect any other aquarium pump to replicate the ocean waves any better than WP40 unless you are setting up a surge system. I have WP40 (replaced Tunze 6205 & 4 MP40), & response from SPS & fish has been nothing but positive.
 
So i am only one that thinks this. I will keep fuking with it see what happens most likely gonna buy 2 wp25 instead though when they come out .
 
Hey Joe, Could you take a video of what its doing in your tank and what setting you have it on? I'll try to replicate it in my tank.

Its all good lol people know im not right in head any way eric. I c what its doing when i get home i moved it as per dre. Tank looks good just dont like the amount of detrious build up but after thinking maybe it mived some from off sand bed under rocks and stuff and thats why tge build up maybe take few weeks to get it all in filter

I do not think the whole world lost their head here, lol. Cracking personal jokes between friends is not a problem, and I knew that was the case here. Regardless, your comment could easily be seen as racist and offensive by those who do not you know you like Joe does.

fwiw...everyone seems to be in love with reefcrest mode. Personally, I get way more randomness in nutrient transport mode

Which one is that lol i didnt look at instructions figured wasnt in english. Would be cool if it could cycle through all the modes i know in two of them it makes a tornado with my sand lol its definilty a powerful pump

It is purple but you need to hit the "set" button so the 3rd and 4th lights are lit. It goes threw pulses and then a standing wave then moves to a strong blast, etc.
