Yogo's 110 build. A year long endeavor!

Looks like 1", but i've only got about 4-6' on hand. The ACE on main is where is where I get it, but they are flakey on keeping it in stock. If it'll help you are welcome to the little I have.

Never seen it done this way. You are reducing 1" or 2" down to 3/4". Pretty interesting idea teeing of the four into eight. How do you think this will effect your flow?

I was thinking about your stability question. I have seen plastic hangers for PVC, maybe you can use those and some epoxy them to the back of the tank.

1" down to 3/4"

It will reduce flow by about 10%, so 300gph. But the back pressure will catch up with some of it.

doesn't each 90 also reduce flow rate? Also, why are you going over the top with two of the returns? I would have thought two more holes would be neater. This is definitely unique in a lot of ways. I love seeing new ways of doing things.

I think as long as your not restricting the intake you should be ok. Just make sure your bonds are good at the connection points or else leaks will pop up. Looks good keep up the good work. Wanna see how this runs with water.
:)

Yes to the elbows reducing some flow. All connections are PVC cemented down except for the unions obviously, lol.

I did two over the top to get the returns exactly where I want them. Two are pointing down towards the front, and two are pointing towards the center from just over the overflows.

To attach your pipe to the back of the tank .....maybe the 3M zip tie sticky pads? Im not sure of the strength of them as far as holding PVC long term though. It's an idea................

Plumbing is done! I found some pipe holders that were small enough to screw into the tank trim too, so that problem is solved as well. The PVC cement says it takes 2 hours to cure, so hopefully this evening I'll have some videos to show you as well, and that will make all the plumbing make some sense, lol.

I have a union on the inlet, and a union on each outlet of the 4-way, and one in between the pump and 4-way so I can clean everything up well enough. I also added a drain on a ball valve on the inlet so I can have an easy way to drain for water changes since my stand is so tall.
