Thanks. Transferred the alveopora from my 75 tonight. Wasn't happy in there. We'll see how it responds. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Lighting upgrade completed! Just placed an order with a great CR sponsor...Coral Compulsion. Ordered the par38, adjustable clamp fixture, and dimmer control. The dimmer control was free! Thanks to Coral Compulsion for extending this offer for me! Anyone interested...it goes until the 31st. I'll post pics as soon as it arrives.

One. The par38 utilizes 90* optics. I liked BigKev's setup and copied it (except he has the par30 with 60* optics). Two of these big bulbs would be extreme overkill.

Received my new lighting from Coral Compulsion today.
Par38 36w 20k
Before (stock Nuvo light, mostly white/little saturation, 14w 14k)
After (C.C. 36w 20k, soft white, blue, violet, good saturation)
On full blast
Coral Compulsion was cool enough to extend an offer and throw in a free dimmer for me. No more plugging and unplugging the lights (as done with the stock lighting).

Double upgrade in effect. I decided to switch from the par38 Vibrance to the par38 full spectrum. And wow, the colors are amazing. The fixture has a LED Color Combination of:
6 Deep Blue 455nm
1 Cool White 12000k
1 Neutral White 6500k
2 True Violet 420nm
1 Deep Red 660nm
1 Cyan 495nm
6 Deep Blue 455nm
1 Cool White 12000k
1 Neutral White 6500k
2 True Violet 420nm
1 Deep Red 660nm
1 Cyan 495nm
