Lol I believe the 3 ft tanks are 150 cubes but they may still be 24" tall not sure

Man I was wrong... I like shallow tanks best anyway so I don't really get cubes.

I don't really care for my 27 but I love my 30. The dream tank would be a 240 cube. 48x48x24

That would be a sick tank. My dream tank is a 300 gallon in wall.

Yeah lol that'd be nice just something about the cube footprint gets me everytime. I had a 120 for about a year but had to sell it and put everything into the 27 cube and double 29s I had. Once I saw the cube full it was a no brainer. Waited til I had money for the db 30 and started planning my build

Yeah I'm doing the same type of build you are. DB 30 and a 40 Breeder. I'm doing a single canopy and they would share a sump and refugium.

Yeah mines just a 55 gallon sump. Slowly going to make the center section a fuge. If you need any advice please ask.

I have 2 new Kessil a360we's with controller i'm thinking about selling.

I have heard great things about the Kessils but when I bought them I did so impulsively with the nagging idea in the back of my head to also try out halides. I entertain the idea daily of halides especially when visiting Beyond the Reef in Schaumburg. They have the exact light I have always wanted and their predominant sps tank looks amazing.

Yeah I love my halides but they are expensive. I'm just throwing around the idea or leds. Most likely I'll stick with my halides and just replace my bulbs but who knows I do like the idea of the kessil

I know sps are supposed to grow slower but mine have been exploding lately. Even frags I got on black Friday are already entrusting and branching
