Dam that kole tang does great work

Haha I wish. Removed everything manually today including handfuls of crushed coral and added more. Still have algae on the overflow and will be removing that. If it comes back then I'll run this aquavitro phosfiltrum that I got. Now to deal with the 1000 flatworms on my front glass everyday

Nothing to show off other than this guy

Been throwing around the idea of shutting this system down for awhile now. Still not sure what I want to do. Hoping June 1 will come around faster so I can start stocking up on acros again. Hoping that brings the spark back. Honestly I thought nothing could make me want to leave the hobby but aefw broke me. It's been a month now since I lost most of my coral. now looking at my tank is just depressing.

The fallow period will be over before you know it. Why don't you stock up on some stylos, montis, psamacoras, etc while you wait? At least it will keep you interested in your tank.

I also can help out, you can have your choice of what's in the frag tank, digi tort you know what I have to keep you in the game

So I noticed one of my peppermint shrimp disappeared about 2 months ago. Didn't think anything about it just figured it died. I removed the cover on my overflow to cut down noise, but now the teeth are gone since it's a part of the cover. Well my other peppermint disappeared about 2 weeks ago. The other day I was sitting on the couch looking at my sump and I see one of my peppermints in my skimmer chamber. I'll never be able to get it out so that's it's new home. Yesterday I took the cover off my sump to look down into my fuge. I never seem to get much growth from my chaeto. It's a nice green color but doesn't really seem to grow. I tossed in some green sponges that were growing on my rock and the sponges are growing quite nicely. One was about a 1" and now is about a 3" circle. While looking in my fuge I find my other peppermint shrimp!

Glad that this piece survived the crash. The only sps piece to survive rockhead

And it looks happy, how's everything else coming along ?

Tom
Everything is pretty good. Took a rock out today and got all the bubble algae off and now it's soaking in the sink. Hair algae is growing on the shelf I dried out but not bad. Tank has been making me happy lately
