180 upgrade begins :) custom stand and setup build

They might look different I had a color vega and it had a spot light effect I bought a hydra 52 and does not have that effect. I am not sure how the regular hydra is. The other question is r u using the ai controller if so would it be able to control the hydra and hydra 52 at the same time

I bought the standard hydra today at aquatica on the way home from the 1/2 mile drag race in monee Mario has excellent prices and always takes care of me. I love supporting his store.

155 mph was my best before the rain came It can go faster. Increasing boost tomorrow for 160 hopefully

Did some plumbing... There's a hell of a lot going on on the pump side lol what do you guys think? I plan on locating it in a corner so I should be able to squeeze behind the tank to access everything once installed as well which will be cool... I'm pretty much designing the system to stay with the stand so I can cut the flex hoses on returns to remove the tank and un do the unions for the two main hard pipe drains and then just remove the flex tube from the emergency drain stubs... The manifold and all return plumbing separate at the spears true union check valve making pump removal a breeze... Reactors will be located one on right side and one in the center hung over the sump ( easy access and if it ever leaks it's dripping back into the sump ) there will be one extra feed line for later additions all feed lines reduce to 1/2 " flex tube and use gate valves... I currently don't have any flow control in the return lines should I add some I built it uniformly figuring that will yield the most even flow from both returns... Also the 1" gate valves to control the Herbie are in the mail and will be cut in... I also but strainers on the full Herbie siphon drains so chances of ever clogging are minimized even though I have a 1" emergency in each overflow box. Critique me please guys noting is glued... Also I have a 12000 jebao return pump and am wondering if I should downsize to a 9000 any opinions.

Thanks in advance

Well I lost it today and bought 2 radion g3pro and another mp40 :/ I'm un sure of where all this equipment is going to fit lol... The transformers on the radions are huge! And I still need a 3 rd and a reef link which I'll pickup tomorrow at aquatica when I return my un opened hydra. Also sanded filled nail holes and painted /stained more today... Gotta urethane the un painted wood tomorrow and boom the stand is done minus plumbing also added a little shelf Inside I made from scraps and extra brackets

Update! Plumbing is finished thank god what a royal pain in the ass it was because I'm such a perfectionist the goal was simple and functional... Gate valves for flow control on main drains all manifold outlets and one for both returns just in case... I like flex in spots as well as long as the runs are straight and short makes working on things super easy... Please critique one full siphon and one emergency overflow per box... Herbie style main drains flow into socks with gatevalves for independent flow adjustment and emergency so just dump into the sump anywhere it was easy and clean with minimal piping with no restriction

Wait till you guys see what I'm working up for radion mounting I will also be making these available for sale as well.... Firing up the welder and water jet shortly :eagerness:

Anyone have a 1-1/2 " drill it to install a overflow in my 40 breeder transfer tank this needs to happen ASAP so I can remove the 93 also looking for a used sump and possibly retun pump for the 40 if not I'm gonna grab a eshopps 100 unless any of you guys wanna show me how to make one out of a 29 or 20 high I have laying here

I made mine out of the 29. I've had it setup different ways but here's the one I like best
