220rr build

Mag24 is cheaper, people say its noisy but I won't hear it. It'll be in the basement. Also planning to have it in the sump.

Added some rock today, cleaned a bunch of old rock to get rid of hair algae.

Just bought a Reeflo Hammerhead gold hybrid today. Someone call the Mario Brothers so I can get this thing plumbed right! No plumbers crack need apply. lol!
 
Have the next couple of days off from work. Hopefully get the rest of the stuff moved from my Sycamore place and then start to plumb the 220.
 
Thank you, with the lack of sleep, I want to make sure I do it right. This is the biggest tank I've ever had. At my fiances house where its setup is next to the big screen tv and the tank makes it look like a nice sweet 13" lmao!
 
Went to start plumbing my tank, realized my bulkheads were 1" and not 1.5". So I returned a bunch of pvc pipe and fittings. Tomorrow going back to Menards to by correct size and a fitting to change it from 1.5" to 1" on the return from the pump.
 
Ended up buying 4 10ft long 1" pvc yesterday. Bought the fittings I needed Thursday. Hopefully I have everything I need now to get this all plumbed right.

Make sure you do not over tighten the bulk heads and crack that tank with all of the water in there.
 
Did it hand tight and then a 1/4 turn or a little more. Don't want to shatter the glass and have 220 gallons all over the future in laws house. I'm on the good side right now. Don't want to be on the list if you know what I mean lol!

Added some more live rock, came back in after washing some other pieces off and found my cat Gonzo watching the fish and critters move around. lol!
 
Picked up a White cheek tang, blasto and blue hammer from Frag Creations today!

Funny thing was that I didn't know that [MENTION=181]Tank2379[/MENTION] is also Frag Creations. We walked into his place and I saw all the frags, then asked him if he was selling them and he goes yes and I'm also on CR as a sponsor. Goes to show that I'm half way awake when I'm looking up things on here overnight. At least I do my job correctly overnight. lol!

RBTA and a pic of the final rock setup. Still haven't gotten around to plumbing it yet. Found out about a last min bbq this evening. May skip out and work on the tank we'll see what the fiance thinks. Most likely will get my head bit off. lol!



 
Picked up a bicolor wrasse: blue, black and yellow/white from Beyond the Reef today. It setup shop on the right side of the tank and all of the fish are coming by for a cleaning. Also picked up some tigger pods too.
