BigBarnacle's big Nuvo 8 build.

Tank looks great I have to say I will always recommend Nuvo tanks they are the best!

OT: heres a question I already have a B/G Chromis in my N4 do you think adding a Tiger goby is a bad idea?

I've always regretted not doing a fresh dry rock aquascape. I always stack live rock as I buy it. Excited to see the pukani rock scape.

Wow. There really is little wiggle room when it comes to parameters in a nano. This will be be a different type of challenge. I let my nano go without topping off the evaporated water for a week so I could see how fast it goes. It only lost about 1/2 gallon over the course of a week. However, 1/2 gallon of water evaporated shot up the salinity from 1.025 to 1.029.

Yeah. An ato is a must. I really love the rkl. Controls temp precisely and salinity doesn't move with ato. My 9 gal aio has a skimmer. It loses nearly a gallon in a week.

Yeah. My APEX runs my 75 gal. The ATO also makes things a lot easier and keeps things stable.

Got my pukani in today and set up my minimalistic scape (hey, this is a nano). Wanted to leave plenty of space for the nano fish and corals. The middle piece is from my 75 and has grown some algae in the time it's been in the nuvo. I'll take it out after cycle and clean up.
